Johnson Controls Redevelopment Has Residential Potential

The redevelopment of the Johnson Controls headquarters is among many Milwaukee office renovations projected to become an apartment building, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
In 2021, Johnson Controls sold the seven buildings totaling more than 420 thousand square feet to a Bear Development affiliate. Now Bear Development is considering housing and other new uses for Johnson Controls Inc.’s downtown offices.
