Workforce Housing in Focus at Real Estate Roundtable

The need for affordable workforce housing in the Milwaukee area has reached an all-time high, as discussed during the Milwaukee Business Journal’s recent Commercial Real Estate CEO Roundtable. Among the leaders present was our CEO, S.R. Mills, who stressed that the demand for such housing was virtually “insatiable.” Bear Development, often associated with the Bear Real Estate Group, is working on addressing this issue, with plans to construct 700 units of workforce housing in downtown Milwaukee aimed at households earning between 40% and 80% of the area’s median income.
