Somers Creek Advances Toward Approval
Somers Creek, a 73-lot single-family subdivision on 43 acres between Pike Creek and Hwy 31, has received a favorable final plat recommendation from the Somers Plan Commission and heads to the Village Board next week. The amended plan—renaming the project from Willow Creek—features an average lot size of 13,882 sq. ft. within a TIF district southeast of Foxconn’s Mount Pleasant campus. Early grading is permitted, utility installation is underway, and a development agreement detailing TIF incentives is being finalized after productive December 2025 discussions.
